Egyptian National Dr. Mona L. Zaki, Founder and CEO of Global Strategic Consultants (GSC), an international strategic consultancy firm for business development for local and international strategic projects, research, integrated marketing communication and human resources development. GSC’s international efforts include the promotion of Egyptian products, services and projects internationally. Dr. Zaki established GSC in October 2003, following a richly versatile and accomplished career spanning two decades in strategic planning and community development, institutional advancement, international cultural programs, international public relations and marketing for the American University in Cairo (AUC).
Dr. Zaki, is also the founder and President of Soft Power Productions targeting to see Art take its rightful place in societies as a powerful voice of truth and beauty. The main objective is to enrich the cultural scene of Egypt by supporting talented and professional young musicians thus establishing music as a major channel for cultural dialogue on both the national and international levels.
Dr. Zaki is also the Founder and Managing Director of Art & Business International; a company based in Budapest specialized in the field of Business, Real Estate as well as Investing in Fine and Performing Arts.
In 2016, Dr. Zaki and three professional businessmen decided to establish Obelisk Group for Stone Technology, offering the highest quality in the Egyptian market and granite with a mission to provide world-class quality to international markets.
In addition to spearheading GSC, Dr. Zaki, who received her doctorate in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands in 2004, specialized in a pioneer study on “Strategic Thinking and Organizations Worldviews of Public Relations Models”.
Dr. Zaki is currently Adjunct Assistant Professor of Marketing and Public Relations at the Business School of AUC. In her professional capacity, Dr. Zaki is always innovative and proactive in her interaction with the student body. In March 2006, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Investment, Dr. Zaki was the first person university-wide to initiate and organize an expedition for students to the Toshka Project, the colossal project that began in Upper Egypt in the late 1990s.
Widely respected throughout the region as an international expert in strategic thinking and international marketing, Dr. Zaki is considered to be one of Egypt’s most successful businesswomen.
As the business development consultant for The Financial Times since 1989, Dr. Zaki continues to be instrumental in promoting Egypt as one of the top emerging markets for international investments. In 2015, Dr. Mona has been assigned by Forbes Magazine to compile a 10 pages review on Egypt to be published in the Forbes Best of Africa September 2015 issue during the UN General Meeting Assembly in NewYork 2015, where Egypt received a majoring voting for the non-permanent seat at the National Security for 2016-2017.

Dr. Zaki is actively involved in Civil Society in Egypt. She is one of the founders and current board member of the Egyptian European Council, and board member of The Egyptian Austrian Friendship Association. Dr. Zaki plays a vital role in strengthening relations between Egyptian institutions, corporations and organizations and their European counterparts. In recognition of her efforts, the Government of Austria decorated Dr. Zaki with the Honor from the “Grand Cross of Honor from the Republic of Austria” in May 2004.
In June 2012, The Government of Hungary bestowed Dr. Mona Zaki with the “Knight’s Cross of Merit of Hungary” for her outstanding achievements in strengthening bilateral relations between Hungary and Egypt. The Ceremony was held in the headquarters of the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest, attended by key international figures headed by H.E. Dr. Zsolt Semjen, Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary.
As the great granddaughter of prominent Egyptian Coptologist and author the Arabic-Coptic dictionary, Ekladios Bek Labib, Dr. Zaki played an instrumental role in fundraising two million dollars to establish the Coptic Chair at AUC in 2000/2001. She is currently a member of the Friends of the Coptic Museum Association.
Dr. Zaki has regularly appeared on Pan Arab and international television to offer her views on political, economic and social issues to a global audience. She is also a promoter of Arab-West dialogue, realized through her participation in an array of conferences and summits. Dr. Zaki was also chosen to as the main speaker in the Global Summit for Women in 2006, also known as Davos for Women.
As a key player in the world of business and communication, from October 2008 to June 2009, Dr. Zaki was exclusively selected from Egypt to be one of three jury members in launching “Stars of Science Contest”, an initiative of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. Her extensive expertise in the aforementioned fields was vital to the shaping of the program and in the design and promotion of the candidate’s inventions across the Middle East and North Africa. The final selection took place in Doha in June 2009. The program was broadcasted on CNN, El Gezira International and most Arab satellite channels worldwide.
Since the 25th January Revolution 2011 and the 30th June Revolution 2013, Dr. Zaki has been a participant in various local and international conferences and panel discussions discussing strategic plans to meet the economic and social challenges. Dr. Zaki has also been on Arab media in different channels and newspapers promoting and supporting investments to Egypt.
January 2016, Dr. Mona Zaki was selected as one of Ten Coptic Icons to be featured in a book entitled “Roadmap to Success: Inspiring Journeys of Ten Iconic Coptic Leaders”. The book describes a remarkable journey into the hearts and minds of ten iconic Coptic leaders illuminating the way towards a successful and fulfilled life.
Dr. Mona Zaki is married to Ophthalmologist and accomplished Artist Dr. Farid Fadel and mother of two daughters, Dalia and Lily. Dalia, Political Science graduate with high honors, AUC, along with being the first Arab student to graduate with honors from the Royal Academy of Music, London, UK in 2014. As for Lily, studied at Saint Louis University in Madrid, and graduated from The American University in Cairo majoring Business Administration with a concentration on international marketing in 2016.

✔ Monitored and adapted the mechanical load improves the thickness accuracy of the slabs and avoid sawing scratches on the materials

✔ Monitor disk partial load percentage and limit the load to less than 70 % of the maximum allowable load improved the cutting edge quality
✔ Fully tuned PID loop with the improvement of enhanced mathematical model simulates and feed the controller with a preset speeds and feed values
