Flamed paving granite New Halayeb is created by firing a flame at the natural stone, causing the surface to burst and dimple, producing a rough texture and increasing the surface’s grip.

Due to its texture, flamed paving granite New Halayeb is highly slip-resistant, making it ideal for use in wet areas, such as around pools.

This process, as the name indicates, involves using a hot torch flame and running it over the surface of the stone to create a textured, non-slip finish that has a semi-rough surface.

The process of flaming is done by wetting the surface of black granite stone. In the same time, the surface feels the heat of oxygen-propane torch over. Finally, the granite slab product wears the finish and it makes the surface look coarse.

Flamed New Halayeb Granite Pavers are widely used in the home, on patios, decks, and around commercial properties

Galala Egyptian marble is one of the best types of Egyptian marble and we supply it in slabs, blocks, tiles and cut to sizes in any quantity and best marble quality

You can use for flooring, walls tiles stairs, window sills, fireplaces, countertops, pavers.

Galala Egyptian marble is the most famous Egyptian stone type. Its quarries are located in Galalah area, Swiss, Egypt.

Galala Egyptian limestone is extracted from many quarries, therefore it has more than 10 different colors, As Galala commercial, Galala Extra, Galala Beige, Galala Cream, … etc.

The most famous Galala type is Galala Extra, but even Galala Extra color differs according to the quarry that is extracted from. In other words, its color maybe white with crystals, white with tiger skin, Galala Flower or mixed color Galala.

Galala Cream marble or Galala Commercial  is One of the strongest egyptian marble types and it’s the other type of the galala marble, it’s a practical material as well as it can be used anywhere indoor or outdoor we Produce it in tiles, slabs and blocks and we manufacture any size in our marble factory, our price is competitive for the marble price in Egypt

Galala Features: –

All finishes can be applied on Galala limestone, except flamed.

Galala white is not preferred with tumbled finish, because it causes high wastage ratio. But Tumbled finish can be applied on strong materials like Galala cream.

It’s preferred the most with epoxy resin treatment.

It can be used in interiors, walls, floors (but not high traffic ones).

It doesn’t need Anti-salts treatment.

Material defects:

It’s Hard to find one colour Galala block, even if it is extracted from the same quarry.

Even when we cut the Galala Extra block into slabs, it’s hard to find big slab without cracks.

For these 2 reasons, Galala Extra costs more than others.

Its water absorption ratio is high, so it’s not recommended for high traffic floors, therefore it’s recommended only for indoor floors.

Most of Galala Extra needs net in its back, to be more powerful.

Halayeb (Bianco) Granite:
What is Halayeb made from?
Granite is the typical type of plutonic rocks, it consists of feldspar, quartz, a few dark—coloured mineral, sand, mica. The main chemical propositions of the granite are SiO2 (65% ~ 70%), a little of Al2O3, Cao, MgO and Fe2O3, thus the granite is acid rock.

What is its uses?
Many people are familiar with granite because it is the most common igneous rock found on Earth’s surface and is used to make many objects that they encounter in their day-to-day life. It is used to make countertops, floor tiles, paving stone, curbing, stair treads, building veneer, and cemetery monuments.
Where is granite found?
Granite can make up much of this foundation of the continents. In mountain ranges like the Sierra Nevada, Appalachians, and Rocky Mountains, granite is found in huge masses of rock called batholiths which form the roots of the mountains. Half Dome and Pike’s Peak are mountains sculpted from granite.

How strong is granite?
According to Moh’s Scale of Mineral Hardness, granite is typically a 6-8 on the scale (1 is the softest and 10 is the hardest)
What is the weakness of granite?
One of the biggest problems with granite stones is its high price and high cost of installation, which is very high compared to other products.
The speed of implementing granite is low due to behind the stone mortaring operation and time-consuming mortar adhesion and takes a long time.

What are the properties of Halayeb?
• Bianco Halayeb granite is a kind of white granite quarried in Egypt.
• It is also called Halayeb white
• Easy to install and clean
• Low maintenance
• Durable
.

What is the strongest stone?
The hardest mineral on the Mohs scale is diamond, which ranks at a 10. On the other hand, the softest is talc, which ranks at a 1. Falling closely behind diamonds on the Mohs scale are corundum (9), titanium (9) and topaz

Can granite melt?
If a rock is heated to a high enough temperature it can melt. In our lab we can heat granite to above 1000°C or 2000°F until almost all the crystals melt and dissolve together becoming a liquid.

Does water stain granite?
• If your water has a high mineral content, it can leave a hard water stain on your granite, especially around a leaky faucet.
• This creates a white, filmy residue on your countertop that can seem impossible to remove but there is a way to do it.

Does coffee stain granite?
• Coffee, whether from spills or cup rings, can leave stains on granite counter tops. When possible, wipe up stains as soon as they occur to prevent staining.
• Stains that are not wiped up immediately require additional attention.

Will fire crack granite?
Granite does not crack under high temperatures.
The melting point for dry granite is 1215 to 1260 degrees Celsius (2219 to 2300 degrees Fahrenheit).
Fire, at orange to yellow range (which you are most likely to get in a fire pit), is about 1100 degrees Celsius (2012 degrees Fahrenheit).

Sunny Menia is distinguished by its high quality and different colours at Egypt

It is a kind of metamorphic rock made of recrystallized calcite or dolomite. Metaphoric rocks mean the rocks that are transformed over the years from the existing rocks. The process is known as metamorphism, which means a gradual changes in the form. Foliation is the repetitive layering process in the metamorphic rocks. According, to the studies in Geology, marble is not a foliated rock but there are many contradictions to this theory. Sunny marble is used in sculpturing and in the building process.
It is mainly used in floors, stairs, and external facades of buildings. This marble is considered one of the most famous Egyptian types.
There are many types of natural marble in Egypt, as it is formed as a result of the hardening process of lava in ancient times, due to the intense temperature and high pressure in the interior of the globe.
Egyptian marble is characterized by its continuous availability in the global market, as well as by its low price, which is commensurate with all classes.

Sunny Menia Orders:
Standard & cut to size tiles with rough surface finish
Standard & cut to size tiles with polished surface finish
Standard & cut to size tiles with brushed surface finish
Standard & cut to size tiles with bush hammered surface finish
All that is available in different thickness 1-10 cm

Sunny Advantages:
• Crushed marble is used for acid neutralization in rivers, lakes, soils, and ponds.
• It is used as an inert filler in pills
• Used in making sculptures and ornaments
• Powered marble is used in calcium addictive feeds.

Sunny Disadvantages:
• Using acid causes the marble to lose its luster and shine.
• It requires extra care and maintenance.
• It can be very cold during winters.

Distinctive properties for Sunny marbles:
• Marble rocks are denser, harder, and colorful than the original stone due to years of metamorphosis
• The veining is a distinctive feature of marble. Theses glistening veins are patterns made by the minerals that fill the cracks in the limestone.
• The shades of the marble depend on the region they originate from the climatic and soil conditions differ from place to place.
• Marble does not heat up quickly and does not absorb heat energy when compared to other materials like concrete and wood.

Effect of atmosphere on Sunny marble:

• The atmospheric gases combined with the rain can deteriorate the marble.
• It decays the structure of the rock and causes the dissolution of marble.
• Snow, rain, and temperature are also responsible for generating the movement of saltwater in the cracks.
• Temperature rise can increase the chemical change in marble and wind may cause erosion in marbles

Problem for Menia:
Weathering effects and thermal change can affect the durability of the rock substantially.
Due to its porosity, it does not absorb much water, but solubility of acid can affect the marble

Sunny Menia
